[WIP] template in progress
Hey folks,
I've been designing a bit last night and today, and this is the result so far:
-- link removed, as I am selling the template
Let me know what you guys think
I'd like to say it again, it's a very early stage WIP, so don't expect too much about it.
edit: well it's a little less early stage already
Thanks

Still a little to early to comment on TBH.
From what I can see, perhaps a little more detail wouldn't hurt, but then again, I dont know what kind of direction your hreading it.

Thx and u'r right oneimedia.
Details wouldn't hurt too much, but I didn't really sketch the design before actually creating it (I usually do so)
I just started designing a bit yesterday, it turned out alright, and decided to continue a bit.
But you are right, it's too early to comment yet, I'll upload some more WIP status pics later on (right now, the last one is scrap008.jpg)
grtz

Thanks alex
I'll make the watermarks a little more transparent.
And yeah, it's the latest one you should comment on, which is right now still 008. (just select the highest number )
Update: just uploaded 009, and adjusted the watermark a bit
Update2: uploaded 010, comments are more than welcome!
grtz

so far it is looking nice..
http://www.sanderd.be/scrap/scrap011.jpg
i like the way you have it layed out..
will that be aligned to the left of the page?
the other thing that didnt take my fancy to much was the style on the client login.. maybe make the box a lttle 'flatter' the beveled appearance doesnt catch me..
but so far so good, keep us updated

Heh, thanks knightmare.
You might be right about the bevel appearance, I'm gonna check out what happens if I make the highlights less bright or something (or maybe just remove the shadow)
On a sidenote, I might be planning to sell this template, but does anybody has tips concerning:
- code it or not? (might as well be adapted to a cms)
- implement a forum or not (a forum design included with it)
- price? (I know, I should determine it)
But it's not yet finished of course, just pm me if anybody has a comment on one of these questions
Learning a bit for exams now, though
grtz

It looks like a nice start but that watermark is too heavy!

Thanks Robson, I've made the watermark less opaque.
I also made the login field highlight a little less bright, and added a bit in the content area
Tips are still welcome (look up 2 posts)
btw, knightmare, yes I think I'll keep it aligned to the left. I have seen enough centered designs by now
