Inactive members will be deleted 1st January
Hi everyone,

Just wanted to point out that you may not want to do this just yet. When persons visit a forum they are more likely to consider it worth their while to join if there are quite a few other members onboard. Deleting these inactive members will lower the number of "Registered Members" shown. Also are you sure that some of these inactive members dont still come by to "lurk" every now and then?

Also (I dont know how much this figures for here) some members join up just so that they can see things like attachments, downloads, etc. Or just in case they choose to post later. I know we recently deleted thousands of members on yaxay (and Aros got slapped for it) but they aren't doing any harm being inactive... are they?

Ehh? Slapped for what? By who? It was a mutual agreement.

Salathe, the members who have signed up and are not posting will be deleted. This gives them an oppurtunity to post between now and January 1st and become active within this community. No, they are not doing any harm but i would like to see this as an incentive to join in.

I would have to agree with Mon, cuase there are a few forums I am part that I might have 1 post or not even one. I do lurk since their knowledge is powerful and I gain from that. Just my past with lurking
