Which email to use on business card?
I am in the process of choosing a business card but I have a dilemma regarding which email address to put on it.
I have an email address I use for business which is myfullname@emailprovider.com and a few days ago I bought a domain to be used as my portfolio site which is www.myfullname.com.
Is it better to put on my business card for the email address myfullname@emailprovider.com or name@myfullname.com?

Visually, its more pleasing to the eye to look at an original email address with the domain name of your company/personal name.
However, I have seen people put the one provided by their ISPs too, and it works for them well. I think it comes down to functionality and email reliability - which one works better for you.
If it was me, I would have put something more official and easier to remember like contact@myfullname.com

Personally I would rather see contact@name.com it just seems more professional. This is actually a helpful thread, as I'm thinking of making my own business cards!

I have all my mail go to mail@danielhellier... so I can see where it's coming from.
So say I had card@ it would automatically go to my main accoun. I'd recommend this cause then you can keep track of how well your business cards are doing in terms of people actually using them to send emails.

I prefer to see "contact@name.com". To me it seems to be the simplest way to do e-mails for business cards. Though, I have never made one myself.

Definitely use your domain name, my parents are printers and all the time end up printing business cards with hotmail address or yahoo and it looks very 'cheap'.
I'd go with hi@ or info@ but with your own domain you can have all emails routed to you anyways no matter what the address it was sent to @yourdomain.
