Snowboarding
Hey, I'm going snowboarding this weekend, and I'm looking to get a board for Christmas. Any recommendations? The price must be in reason, I cant spend like 1000$

I have a 2004-2005 Burton Canyon 156cm and it's incredible. The best all-mountain board i've ridden, and it really shows it's worth on the landings. If you like doing the terrain park, get a canyon. it's wide too.

They may have. You can get one new/slightly used for ~$300US on Ebay though. I highly recommend them. I live in Wenatchee, WA and ride at Mission Ridge mostly, and there's a great terrain park there. I love the jumps Just got back from going for 7 hours today.

That's probably the Canyon's descendant. It's a great park/pipe board. The canyons were burton's widest boards and they're nice with rails and boxes too.
Just a tip: If you think you'll ever be doing grinding... dont buy a Gnu. They snap very easily... or so I hear. Also, dont go cheap on boots and bindings.

RIDE snowboards are good, as are Arbor and Rome. I still think Burtons are the best park boards though.
GNU's are too brittle, but I've never ridden a Forum. I hear good things.
