Has Digg Dugg Itself?
Haha, that title sounds a bit odd but...
Has it come to the stage that Digg steps down and disappears?
Just remember back in 2006 era when Digg really was thee network to be at and involved with, thats until Twitter came along.

It would be good if you had any reasons to support your statement. From what I have heard, Digg had to be re-done for a couple of reasons. Some of them were that they started using a new technology to host Digg(because they were having to disable features to keep site running due to high server loads), so it had to be re-rewritten to be compatible. Also, the current version is just bare-bones of the final version as they are still working on getting the core features working properly without crashes before they move forward to bring in all the new features. Plus Kevin Rose says that this new style of Digg was a move that they considered best for how the current market is. They can make mistakes and if this was a mistake then they will shrink if this wasn't they'll continue growing...

Didn't Kevin step down?
At any rate, I think Digg really hurt itself and alienated a lot of users with the upgrade, but since then they've started adding back a lot of the conspicuously missing features and addressed a lot of the bugs that were plaguing the site on launch. It's got a ways to go, but I don't think Digg's out of the fight just yet. I know a few people who quit Digg after the upgrade, and most have trickled back already.

Kevin hasn't stepped down... He took CEO role when their other CEO went (fired I think) but Kevin doesn't want to be CEO, there is a new CEO but Kevin still develops and plays a lot in moving the company forward.
People hate change... We all know that... Digg just changed and had a few hiccups... Now people are moaning ... blegh...
