  Old  Book Publishers?

Hi

We are planning to start a book site like amazon.com or something similar but maybe not so big.
Is there anyone out there whose company publishes books who would be interested in placing their ads for new book releases in such a site?

Or anyone interested in working with me in such a site?

Anyone interested PM me or email me at creationzunlimited@gmail.com

Why would you place ads for Books on a Booksite if you intended to sell them on the site?

Or do you mean people interested in selling their books on your site?

Would the site be just books? or would you be selling other types of merchandise?

Like DVDs or CDs?

Or are there greater Overheads on them... I wouldn't know :P

I don't know anybody who works for a company that makes books... its probably best to find one of their sites and e-mail them.

Mainly what i am looking for people who will be interested in such a site in any capacity.
Either as buyers or investors or even just want to be involved in making of such a site.
So if anyone is interested contact me at creationzunlimited@gmail.com

we will start off with books first and then slowly move to cds and dvd and even ebooks if possible.

I would suggest putting other types of merchandise on the site. Kind of like Amazon. I would think there could be some potential profit in a website like that. If you plan on creating a site like that and need a back-end feel free to contact me and we can work something out.

I'd suggest putting your money into something else to be honest. The online book store market is already saturated and totally dominated by Amazon and bricks & mortar stores such as Barnes & Noble.

There's also the fact that fulfillment is no light task. Amazon succeeded through having a huge mail-order infrastructure in place. And they lost millions to start with getting this into action.

I designed the logo for an amazon rival that actually competed for a while but they went out of business after about 4 years (NetMegastore - dunno if any of you heard of them).

Good luck though
