When will people learn, honestly. I've been with MT for about 6 months now, never had a single problem, always been notified of any downtime (once for 3 hours).
I don't know why people choose to go with a small host that's ran on one or two rented servers and probably from a bedroom, you just ask for trouble. You may get good support at first through IM or whatever but the only reason why they can offer this is because they've got a tiny user base.
The above isn't soley aimed at SenseHost, it stemmed from the constant flow of threads stating 'xxxxxxxhost is down' etc etc etc.

I find with smaller hosts you get better support. Larger companies are just bothered about sales, once they've reeled you in they aren't so bothered. That's one reason I go with smaller companies; because they have a smaller user base and are willing to do their bests to keep them happy and provide a good service.

Let them find that, it's not a public thing that should be given out.

That's odd that even if he went on vacation, that he wouldn't at least ensure things are stable on a daily basis, or even just find someone to do his work for him while he's gone. When you're a one-man show, you still have to be around to "work" even on vacation. :\
When I went on vacation, I still had access to my support system through my phone (so while I was on flights and layovers, I had access.) Hell, I even had someone "on call" to deal with stuff that required more time than answering a ticket with what I had already.

You have to be prepared for these kinds of things with Shared Hosts though, can't be mad at them.
