Don't start with such a complex layout use some simple block coloured elements to understand how CSS works. Once you are confident that you can use single 'color' background then move on to images. Other get a grasp of the basics first.
this is a simple layout. im just wondering if someone can quickly do it for me so i can understand how to code and position.
