Upload file script

Hi, Having recently re-designed my school website, I am now in the process of developing it further. I'm looking for a script which allows people to upload files to the web server. I want the users to be able to choose where it uploads to. E.g. if its to do with the subject English, then it uploads to that folder, if its Science, then it uploads to that folder and so on. Also is it possible for a file to automatically link to a page when uploaded? E.g. into a table?

I'm very new to this type of thing, so any help will be greatfully appreciated.
