[Logo] findajob
Here is my entry for a contest over at 99designs, I dont expect to win but i quite like the outcome would like to get your feedback.
He wanted a web 2.0 logo, not to fancy not many grandients, but with a bit of a shine, i think ive achived that here. anyway whats your views on the logo?

Looks good and original! I just think the magnifier looks a bit flat and unreal. But otherwise, good job

The a overpowers the entire logo and is way to distracting. The gloss is not necessary either. Keep it simple, keep it flat.

I never even noticed the "a", but yeah, now that I see it, it looks to bright.

yeah i agree, the "a" overpowers everything. Also in the black and white versions I found it hard to see the "a".. Maybe its just my monitor but it might look better a few shades up.

The a is too prominent and distracting. But I understand your frustration about winning contests over at 99designs.

I like the concept (mag glass as the i). But it isn't clear enough in my opinion. I prefer simple and clear logos that would be just as easy to read if printed off using a poor quality printer. I would make the colors bolder and sort the "a" out - as this isn't what the viewer should be focusing on.... it should be "find" and "job"; as that's what the target audience will be looking for.

Looks creative but i agree about the a being too overpowering and about how "find" and "job" should be bolder. I like the black and white version a little more since the a is not as noticeable on my screen.

I think it's a great logo.
If it doesn't win, contact me as I'm interested in purchasing it.
