Colours look a bit dull but layout looks good.

I like the simplicity, it's very easy on the eyes and simplicistally appealing.
I would possibly use some more noticable colors although, some greens and blues and such.

Yeah, it's going to be a lot like youtube.
Thanks for the feedback, I will have a play around and see what colours work best.

Are these any better? Ignore the grainy text, that will be sorted later.

I think the first blue one is ALOT better. It's a good platform to work from and it deffinately jumps out more than the first greay one, i think your target audicance would like that one a lot more too. . . they are going to want something bright and fun afterall.

I agree with what everyone else has said, layout is nice but the colours aren't. What's with the bar at the top aswell? I was experimenting with web 2.0 designs the other day so i'll post one or two of them when i get chance!

OK, i didn't notice there was two pages, on the blue one the green bar at the top doesn't really fit with the rest of the colours, also i'd change the colour of the text that 'Sea Side' etc are in.
The second one i think is a lot nicer, the main colour works well am just not sure about the blue that you've used with it.
