Vanilla
I've just recently found a great forum script called Vanilla. I'm pretty sure I'll use over vBulletin and other scripts from now on. You guys should check it out! It's really solid product, and best of all, it's free!

It's a very pretty looking forum. But I don't know how fun it would be to use.

I tested it a half year ago on my personal server, it's really nice in usability and so on, but customizing it is a real pain.

I have used it for about half a year, it's brilliant.
But I would wait, if you are going to start with it now, until version 1 is released.
Yea, customizing is hard at the beginning.

It looks very good and I'm impressed by their SEO techniques, however though it seems to lack options right now.

Its catching in on the ajax craze. As more and more people want ajax sites and this has ajax or is made all out of ajax not sure >_>
But still cool none the less.
Also any one tried skinning it? Hard? or possible?

Looks pretty good - nice and simple, but I still love vB *hugs*

I tested Vanilla on a board, but the site members didn't like the switch much from invision. I like how it's stripped down, and not as bloaded as the other popular forum software. I think it surely could be great for a site. I like how it makes the forums seems more active, and it keeps for forum conversation going very well.
