Church Design(agian)
Ok, ive been working hard on this design. For some reason im having a hard time making a design for this church. Not shure why, usually i can come up with a design fairly quickly, this is like my 5th concept and im starting to like it a little better than the other ones. Please let me know what yall think, and leave me some ideas for it. Thanks,

It's not bad, just a bit too bland imo.
All concepts have looked the same, a header and the same style menu..

Ya, i was trying to stick with the same shell layout as the original concept because they liked it, i just was not happy with the design aspect of the other conepts, i like the shell layout just not the graphic part. What do you mean by bland, and what would be a way to make it not so bland. Is it color bland? ALso im trying to find something to do with the rest of the space on the nav area. I was thinking maybe using it for upcoming events for the week out, and then have a calander page for the month events. Please reply back and let me know.

hmm...i think when it comes to church design, you need to use some fresh and light colors. The dark blue isn't working!! When i look at that design, its just SO DEPRESSING FOR A CHURCH!!!

OK, im working one blending some different photos for a "Fresher" look, the hard part for me is the nav bar, put it on side or at top, then i have a hard time making the layout for the rest of the info

I agree, the colours and the layout don't seem to be working. When I think of a church design I think of brown/light brown colours and whites (for some reason). I would say you need to extend the navigation column (make it wider) the current scheme is very monotone and dull, experiment with new colours and perhaps include a stock image of a church or something.

For church site the colors dont really fit like the others said, go with warm reds, creams and browns. Add a couple of nice patterns here and there might help. Theres nothing wroung with the concept i think its just how you've progressed from there onwards.

So you think the overall layout is ok, work on colors? I have a new header with some photos blended in kinda neat looking, i dont have a photo of the church, i need to take my dig. camera and get one. They dont want me to use a photo of another church, i already tried that one. I have a nice header but im having a hard time deciding on what to do with the nav bar. I dont like it on the side for some reason. I think it would look better under the header, but im not shure how to go about it design wise. Any thoughts?
