Hi !

Dear friends . I'd like to know your opinion on my ever first site ?
I realise that its far from perfect and it uses free hosting
Its more experemental .May be maden just "for a change"
Firsly I used frames .But I reconstructed it(search engine opts)
So I hope you wont judje too strong. But it wd be fine to hear your
advices ,opinions ,what to improve to change etc.
However they declared ,they accept scripts ?but I found it doubt.
If you have interest - http://watzz.multiservers.com
The fine arts samples placed on it are not scaned ,but maden with PSh-6 (so they looks not exactly as on canvas)

the background image alone kills it. how do you read anything? and yes, in firefox the links are completely scrambled.

i don't know why you're using frames, there's no reason to.

I really made it without using any software )
Could you recommend one (not FP ) ?

2 I checked guys ,that most of you use the different OS and browser etc
Could it also have influence ?
The only thing I hope that I made it appropriate for ALL imaginable screen resolutions ))))))

Really wanted can one use if for different reasons he dont want to use FrontPage, Netscape Composer, WYSIWYG ???
FlexID is excellent but too bothering /
I never checked up DreamWeaver however/

The reason why i used frames, and handwork were aim to reject the use of tables
finally !!!! I made it by css ,frames etc. But found it looks not very fine on "hand based computers" (smallest screens))) and also bad for search
reasons /

Anyway thanks for opinions !

You can make tabless layouts without frames using divs. Also you should really check the site in Firefox. Did you use some kind of site builder? Theres no CSS in the site at all, I think you really need to learn the basics of html first, using notepad.

http://www.w3schools.com/html/default.asp
http://www.htmlgoodies.com

Are good resources, I know this sounds rather harsh. But you need to start from the bottom up learning the basics first.

May be its better to use inline css ,I dont know.
I devised some things that been mentioned by guys ,but not shure is it worh uploading
if things come to worse (( if you anyway dont see any working css
I think the best way is to consult some master ,but unfortunately the's no
anyone around my region((((

Not sure where to start. Ok, firstly there is no real colour scheme in the design, before you start a website make sure you outline the colour scheme you're going to use and the target audience.

Why have you used black backgrounds for the text? That is VERY ugly! Also, due to the pattern on the bg, some of your other graphics are showing their backgrounds also (very bad design).

The mouseover buttons don't server any purpose, generally annoying really. I would lose them in an instance. The use of css for the scrollbar is very pre 98 and should not be used on any web pages ever again imo.

The text spacing, colour and general appearence needs work. I don't like having to scroll down whilst reading text, why not create a table for this information and house it on the left hand side?

Remove the stats counter, they used to be trendy and are ideal for your daughters britney spears fan club, but not for a professional web site.

I clicked on this link http://watzz.multiservers.com/art.htm and almost had an epileptic fit, please do some research on colour theory for everyones sake! Very bright and hard to read, the use of so many animated gifs also has an effect on page loading times and general userability, not to mention they look pretty tacky.

My general advice. Take a look here http://www.colormatters.com/entercolormatters.html and learn abit about colour theory and what colours look good together etc. Then check out here http://www.htmlgoodies.com and learn about the basics of html. I would then suggest checking out this site http://www.webpagesthatsuck.com and read over the articles and after all that have another go!

It's your first site, you're not ment to be a professional so please don't take anything i've said to seriously, i'm just trying to help you improve!
