First design in a while
Hey,
This is my first design in a while, and I'm sad it turned out to be trend-whored.. anyway, it's for sale, but I thought I'd ask on how it looks considering I haven't designed in a while.

Regards.

Honestly, you could say that about lots of sites. For the most part, TF is just gradients with a few small things thrown in and some default vB styling. Thanks for your comment though, I'll see what I can change on my next design.

Lol the critism was supposed to be constructive. But ok, lets take a look.
The same gradient and color is used on your logo header, your nav, and your side title bars. The same shade of orange and blue is seen throughout your content, oh but wait, there is a grey box.

super clean I'm diggin' it...
feels like whatever content is fed in will be showcased with little interference from the site...not a bad thing.

Well, in case you missed, I said I'd take it into account in my next design, so yes, it was constructive.
Also, I like my sites to be less than graphic intensive as it steers away from the content.

sorry to say, but most sites are weak designs too, so it goes hand in hand.
it's a blog, it does the job, i didn't expect much from it, but you shouldn't expect much in response to design. when you strip it down, it is very simple - and as a blog there's not much strategy to work off of - so that's the kind of response i'd expect.
edit: that being said, i don't like the radial gradients.

Well, it's not radial gradients, but I get what you mean. Thanks for the comments, I'm making a new design tonight for a Hotel.
