Firefox is open source, so bugs get squashed VERY fast. If someone finds a bug in the code (no software is 100% bug free) and reports it, it's probable that there will be a patch available for it within 24 hours or less.
Firefox can be skinned.
Firefox is developed in very well architectured modules this makes extending it (an example is extending its functionality with plug-ins extensions) a piece of cake. And if one thing fails, the whole program won't crash.
Firefox hardly/never crashes/
