.PNG transparent?
Hey i was wondering , when i make something transparent in photoshop and save it as .PNG , it will looks transparent in Firefox , but it doesn't in IE.
How come?
Can someone help me please ?

IE + and under don't support transparent .png files, and IE7 does it, just not overly well.
Use .gif or you can use one of the many .png hacks... I prefer this method:

PNG is alot sharper than GIF, I don't think it will be too long before MS realise they need great support for PNG files in IE

because ie6 is out of date and pngs weren't used often when they developed it.

Many transparancy/shadow effects and such can be approximated as long as the design is clever...but yeah, it'd be nice if IE wasn't so lame.

Internet exploror < 6.0 doesn't support transparent images. Try using firefox or Opera.

Before using hacks, try and find a way of not using transparent images. A lot of the time they can be simply normal images just placed correctly (if you're using a textured background and you want a shadow, for instance).
