I'm posting it in here rather than the "budget code" section because I honestly have no idea what I'm looking at price-wise for something like this... although I sincerely hope it's not much.
Basically, I wan't to be able to play youtube videos within a flash file, and I want the flash file to be completely independent from outside coding (I've seen some solutions that require PHP or Javascript on the page to allow it to work... I don't want that.)
Here's an example of Meebo using the technique:

The best I can see through decompiling it is it seems to send the video link you submit to "http://www.meebo.com/cmd/parseurl.py"
So, for example, here is a video being parsed:
If you download the file and open it in notepad, it contains this data:
Code:
http://sjl-v59.sjl.youtube.com/get_video?video_id=4z9f9Eybv4I,http://img.youtube.com/vi/4z9f9Eybv4I/default.jpg,EverLast,video
The end goal is to develop a media player for a project I'm working on in which the user can select different links within the flash file which will play youtube videos.
It's obviously possible to do it the way I want it (like meebo), I just can't find any resources on how.
If you can do this and provide me with a simple .FLA file that I could use and re-use to pop the feature into as many flash movies as I like, then let me know how much you'd charge.
Thanks
