Having problem with hover images

I have a problem with my hover buttons and they wont center on the page.

text-align: center; in #nav and then remove the *. Try that.

it still don't go to the centre

I've had to do this before and I think this is what I did.

On the li, take off the float: left; and then add display: inline; in it's place. Then, on #nav, put text-align: center;. That should work, if not, let me know and I'll play around with it.

Thanks for the help guys but it still dont work.
Andrew R If i change it to that it gose vertical and the button don't show and the hover button dose.
