Although DP is swamped with scammers and the like, I still prefer DP over SP. I don't know why. I just find myself liking the community at DP better. It's easier to get involved in the community, IMO. I guess it's more relaxed and laid back?

I guess SP is a more mature community. I find it boring, so I only go there to check out the marketplace, and to sell/buy sites, etc.

I hate DP for it's design and scamming members - sometimes it also gets a little hard communicating with some of the members, because English isn't their first language.

Other than that - it's a good community.

from a marketing point of view Id say DP is better for buying sites and selling links. Sitepoint is still the best place to sell sites though even if this means paying a fee. Im still wondering how long it will be untill Shawn at DP decides to take fees from ppl who sell their services at DP

Shaun knows that if he does that that half the people won't sell at that marketplace again.

I prefer Sitepoint, DP is too "shady" for my likings.
