Are they even going to be taking orders online? The verbiage on the site makes it sounds as if you will have to buy it from an apple or att store. Hope I'm wrong though.

Because I have an Ipod touch right now and know the limitations of typing and utilizing a touchscreen for typing (main purpose for changing to a smartphone is for email capabilities).
iPhone is not the ultimate solution for everything Vizon, that's why they haven't conquered the business world.

I know, I am really getting discouraged. I don't know why they would not take preorders now? They do with all other products.. Wow this is weird. I keep checking the at&t site which is going crazy at the moment. Obviously their updates didn't work.

The n810 (not a phone) might serve you well. Very nice keyboard, touch screen, etc. Bluetooths to your cell for whatever download speeds your network/plan is capable of. I like it because it's not proprietary or restricted in anyway. very handy, video calling (voip with gizmo, skype, etc) is cool too, shame no one else I know uses it.

I am more than slightly annoyed at the lack of a 32gb drive. I would happily have compromised the GPS in exchange for that. God knows why they haven't done it, the technology exists. It wouldn't even be that much more expensive. That said, i'll be getting one anyway.
Oh, and just to point out Vizon, there is no way in HELL that a Blackberry is slower than an iPhone, lol.

We took two other 3G phones -- the iPhone 3G is 36% faster than the nokia N95 and Treo 750 -- and look at the result you get, by the way! Full page on the iPhone, and quite a bit less on the other phones.

Sorry had my info wrong was looking at the treo pic thinking it was a blackberry. Still I bet the 3g is faster on the iPhone
