Nope. Logically you haven't got to showcase the work to potential clients. Infact an estimable portion of gambling sites will forbid you with a non-disclosure agreement.
What are these dubious/unethical/whatever reasons you have stopping you from accepting gambling work?

Please take this argument somewhere else.
The only work I've refused for non monetary reasons was an adult site and a site I was quite convinced was a scam.

only work I won't except is something that pays too little for my time. As someone else mentioned, what they do post-development is their business, not yours. If you think their site is a scam, if you turn it down, there will be someone else out there who won't.

Like most designers I try to shy away from anything along the lines of overzealous and/or sketchy advertising sites. My general key is to stay away from anything I myself would find shady on another designer's portfolio. As for 18+ and gambling material, it's really whatever I draw from the initial contact for a job. If the situation seems either illegal, shady, or just down right chummy, I simply back off and refuse the job.
I guess the best way to summarize it is by saying use your common sense. If you've spent any time on the internet at all, you know what looks fishy and what doesn't.
