PhpBB styling/skinning tutorials?
Hey,
Not sure if this is the right forum, but I want to skin my phpBB forum design, and I've tried googling phpBB skinning tutorials, but I can't seem to find any good ones. I've read that the simplest method is just trying to edit the CSS files of one of the default phpBB styles, but I want to make some minor replacements in the HTML as well. My template will look something like this, so it's not TOO different from the prosilver style:

Thanks!

I suppose there aren't really any skinning tutorials because it's basically just editing existing code. If you've got a decent understanding of HTML and CSS then it shouldn't be too hard, especially in your case.
For the the pink tables that you have there, you could just edit the images out of the existing skin and set the background color of the <div>'s to pink, and add a rounded border to the corners via CSS. Everything else doesn't seem to be too difficult. Is there something in particular you need help with?

Ok, well since I haven't really dug into it yet I just assumed it would be a little more difficult, but I guess I'll just have to find the files for the header and footer and try to locate the functions I need to move.
I don't know if I need any help, maybe if you know where I could find some kind of phpBB functions library?

The header and footer files can usually be edited within the template manager of the admin. panel. I'm not too familiar with phpBB so I'm unsure where it is exactly.
I found this via Google, I'm not sure if it's what you need or not: http://phpbb.wikia.com/wiki/Function_reference_guide

Thanks for your help, I'll see if I can manage to make some sense out of this.
EDIT: Np, just had to go and Refresh to get the changes working
