Old  Apple CEO Steve Jobs Resigns

Yesterday was a sad day for the tech industry as Steve Job's announced his resignation as CEO of Apple. He has stepped down to chairman (best decision to avoid stocks plummeting). It's a sad day for me and many others as he was an inspirational individual.

I will always remember this quote from Steve to someone who worked for Pepsi " "Do you want to sell sugar water for the rest of your life, or do you want to come with me and change the world?"

Steve Jobs taught me how to think differently.

Thank you Steve and I hope you get well soon.

Sad to hear Steve Jobs brought us a lot of good things.

He must be really sick, probably dying of cancer or something :/

Haven't heard much about him (I'm assuming he's the guy who's taking over?). I did see the email he sent all the employes.

Hopefully steve jobs wasn't all of apple, I mean they still have all the same people. I guess we'll see what happens, maybe steve jobs will return?

Time Cook has been Steve's right hand man for years. He was brought in to fix some things in the company, which he successfully accomplished. I think he is up to the task.

I have complete confidence that Tim Cook will do just fine. I've actually started to look at purchasing an Apple laptop. Need to get a raise first.

Wow this is a shocker, I never thought the face of apple, Steve Jobs, would ever resign. But cancer can be unpredictable. I don't know much about Tim Cook, but we'll have to see in the coming days what this could possibly mean for apple. New logo? New corny slogan, like "Apple... Take a bite out of us!"? I don't know, we have to see!!
