As a contest holder you agree to choose a winner of the contest regardless of whether the end product meets your requirements or not.
Sorry to say, but thats the only reason why these forums will never stir activity.

If someone who had no idea of the quality on these forums, posted a contest for $600, are you telling me that at the end of the contest, for the designers piece of mind, they can swindle the contest holders for $600 despite creating a $150 design?

Complete and utter lunacy.

No mate, you posted literally a minute too early

It was to his lordship, How2Freelance. The guy who has continued to try and screw up everyone of my contests over the past few days on a numerous amount of boards, simply because he cant accept that he wont win a contest, cos he is a naff designer.

Well its really up to Robson. I think maybe the contests rules need to be revamped the slightest bit.

Alot of things have been assumed and stired in this thread.

As far as rules go, stealthstorm was actually designing for this contest and wasn't pulled in at the last hour to save Bakie from choosing a winner. Perhaps I need to ammend the rules to make sure something like this doesn't happen again, but the only thing stopping stealthstorm being 100% in the right is the fact he didn't post the design within this thread and it was all done in private.

Unfortunatly this contest has had it's fair share of problems, I appreciate Bakie sticking with it and actually choosing a winner, he could have just done a runner like alot of others would. Stealthstorm is the winner and hasn't done anything wrong according to our current rules.

So tweaking the rules wouldn't be that bad of an idea. There is kind of a loophole.

Well, I guess there is somewhat...

At the end of the day, Bakie will be paying stealthstorm $100 for a design. If another member in this contest did a better design he would be paying them. Stealthstorm is a member of talkfreelance and was participating in this contest, had he have posted his design yesterday for example, there wouldn't have been a problem.

Thanks for sorting all of this mess out Robson Sorry for all of the people who didnt win and put in all of that time and effort. Good luck with selling the designs.

The rules really have to be changed a bit though...
