How does templatemonster operate?
Hey guys, quick question (not sure where this goes, if this is in wrong section, please move, thanks.).
I was wandering how templatemonster.com operated.
When you purchase a template, do you get a DL link immediately? How are they able to control how many downloads are given out?
Basically, I want to know what happens from the time a template is purchased, to the time you set it up.
Thanks, any information would be great.

Same, I was just curious as to how they operated though. Sparked my curiosity.

I'm unsure about this aswell, but still curious.
I'm sure that someone around here has an answer for this.

First you pay, then you get the download link.

Let's see if my memory serves me correct...
1. Once you fill out your order the first thing they'll do is send you a receipt of your purchase via email.
2. They'll call you to confirm that you did indeed place an order with them.
3. You'll received yet another email with your transaction information along with the link to download your template and the link will remain active for 3 days. In this email you'll also get a link to download other free goodies. They'll also be other offers and so on in this email.
4. The last email you'll recieve from them is to ask you to fill out a survey, which you can do or not.
Hope this helps.

Thanks.
That was the exact answer I was looking for.
How many times are you able to download it? (Do they have a counter-measure that prevents people from passing the link around? In other words, once that link is downloaded once, is it dead forever?)

This might sound like a silly idea, but maybe you could purchase a cheap template (I think their cheapest is just a few dollars) and actually experience the process yourself. Just a thought.
