Not without appropriate permission from the copyright holder(s), Adobe?

If you purchased the product legally, I doubt Adobe will throw too big of a fit--as long as you make sure you are not trying to come off as Adobe themselves.

A lot of those icons are fairly generic symbols of many different design software functions. There is no reason you can't develop a set of icons based on the PS ones for a guideline, but be careful to only use the generic ones.
Adobe don't hold the copyright for the use of generic symbols.

I can't see that it really matters....look at the arrow icon, it's rather generic, surely they can't claim ownership to something like that?

You're not that clear about copyright are you Robson? The arrow was presumably created by someone for Adobe and as such they (Adobe) hold all rights to use/distribution (unless waived) of said arrow. Just because it is a generic arrow does not mean it still doesn't belong to someone.

I am perfectly clear about copyright Salathe, you obviously misunderstood my point....adobe cannot claim rights to a generic icon such as a arrow. It's like me trying to copyright a circle.

Others that come to mind quickly is the eyedropper and the fill bucket. many programs use those icons.
