I like the idea, and I personally try not to use www anyway! My personal site doesn't use it!

Cause maybe it is a hoax! Anybody bother to look at ICANN's site? I would think that maybe they might have something listed on their site if this was valid.

it doesnt matter to me, i can type www quite quickly, lol, i hardly ever mess it up, only if i have been drinking or am tired.

And people could just make a subdomain called 'www', would that be illegal? :\

lol. most sites work with both http:// and http://www. mostly just type stuff without the www.
