Well, it is...BRIGHT
For some forums dedicated to design, I would have expected a bit more customization...especially a logo. I think more needs to be done before a thorough review can be given...right now all you have done is install the base phpBB and put a new theme on it.
On a side note...the name of your site...Design 01...were you trying to make it sound like a course name? The intro course number that everybody thinks of would be 101...Design 101. I dunno whether or not that's what you were going for, the 01 just confused me.

I like the color scheme...
But add a bit more detail.

Well, as others have said I think it's too bright, try making the blue a bit more easy on the eyes. The font you have chosen for the logo looks out of place and unprofesional too.

Definitly too bright for a forum, generally people tend to browse forums for long periods of time but I would probably get a headache staring at that for more than 5 minutes! The structure seems fairly default, you should try and make it look more interesting on the surface by adding sideboxes or a better header. ![Smile](images/smilies/smile.gif)

The blue is to bright - and there's nothing really special about the skin. It looks flat and lacks subtle details that'll make it really stand out.
The text in the upper left is horrible and your better off using something else.
