Redirect to talkfreelance.com, if anything.
Why would you want to make the urls longer? also you can change the settings within googles webmaster area, for all links to be http://site.com or site.com, so just stick them to site.com and all is well.

The web site's PR is higher with www.
The general consensus is www. should stay, I've mentioned it directly to Big Zee.

One way or the other, I don't mind either way but please lets try to change it to either www or without and keep it consistent.

RewriteEngine on
Options +FollowSymLinks
php_value register_globals 1
RewriteRule ^thread([0-9]+).html$ showthread.php?t=$1 [L]
RewriteRule ^lastpostinthread([0-9]+).html$ showthread.php?goto=lastpost&t=$1 [L]
RewriteRule ^newpostinthread([0-9]+).html$ showthread.php?goto=newpost&t=$1 [L]
RewriteRule ^f([0-9]+)-(.*).html$ forumdisplay.php?forumid=$1 [L]
|
The code that was given made the whole rule set mess up. Anyone able to point out how the rule should be added?

I'm not sure you need 'RewriteEngine on' again but try that anyway, it should work fine.

In your .htaccess file in your main directory or wherever you want it to work.
If no .htaccess file is there, make one.
