  Old  Your Worst Fears...

Well, I just went to put something up into my attic/loft (whatever you call it), and something I had heard on the news once dawned on me. A man had been living in someone's attic for a year or so without them knowing. When the owners left the house he would come out and freely use their home. Eventually the owners became suspicious and somewhat baffled - things were moved about, taken, and no signs of false entry. They eventually suspected someone was living in their attic. They called the police, and low and behold, there was someone living in their attic...

Anyway, i've never felt conscious of going up into an attic before, but it certainly makes you think. The concept is frightening, and as I turned on that light with those thoughts running through my head, it freaked me out to say the least. Some may say that's weird, but it's just fear of the unknown (xenophobia) really.

I am sure there is a phobias thread lurking in the depths of the forum, but let's hear some of your phobias. This may help you (there's also some funny ones!):

http://phobialist.com/ (no it's not my site, lol, first on Google when 'list of phobias' is searched)

Our attic is converted so it's a daily used room, so I doubt there's someone living up there But my worst fear would be going to the dentist. I desperately need to go and get checked and a couple of fillings done due to tooth ache but I'm petrified.

It wouldn't scare me if it was used as an everyday room, it's just the whole trap door thing.

My attic is used as an everyday bedroom too, so no one we don't know lives there!

I think the only thing I do think of in terms of it scaring me is wondering what it's like to drown...

I have a fear of dying all alone, with nobody there around you as you pass away.

I have vertigo and really really bad case of it. I would not wish it on anyone, yeah it easy to live with until you need to go up somewhere high or in a glass elevator.

Im scared of snakes. I also hate/kinda scared of dentists, because I had 3 perminent teeth pulled and it hurt. Oh and sitting at home while it bled for 7 hours made it even more frightening

Lol Gary. Ye paranormal is kindy creepy. Say we knew ghosts 100% existed. It'd be **** scary knowing one could be invisible in your room. Staring over your shoulder right now.
