Text you want on the logo/icon: maybe a chrome vector look/feel? go with what ever feels good with the design you create.
Colors: whites, grays, chrome feel, blues?
Anything else I should know: it will be a "fun" site hopefully i will be able to get the design made into a forum for phpBB as well, that way it will be a site for people to interact with one another about VW cars, etc.

Text you want on the template: navigation [ home, contact, about, blog, forum, sign-up ]
Colors: something that flows with the logo
