[Apprasial] dereklaud.com

Hey everyone,

Looking for an apprasial on this domain i've registered www.dereklaud.com.

The domain is for one of the contestents in big brother 6 in the uk. He's probably going to be in the show for a few more weeks and there is a slim chance he might win it (although that hope fades away with every episode!).

Derek is somewhat famous in his own right, he is the first black member of the far right group, the monday club. He was also a candidate in the 1997 general election but withdrew after being convincted of a drink driving offence in the United States.

Anyways, apprasials please! Value of the domain currently and the value if Derek wins the show

If he wins I think youve got a winner there... Im not good at values so ill leave that to the experts.

If he wins, you have quite a domain. Even if its for him or for someone who wants to make a 'dislike' site of him.

Could I suggest slapping a forum system on there and getting people to discuss Derek (and most likely BB as a whole)? Then you could have a money spinner on your hands! But just as a domain with nothing else attached, you're probably wasting the opportunity.

^ True, the domain alone could be worth something but with content it can be worth twice as more.

According to Overture, Derek Laud averages 115 searches/month.
The suggestion to whip up a forum to discuss him and the show he's on is a good one.
However, I wouldn't expect too much dinero for it, even if he wins. RealityTv show contestants tend to be "flash in the pan" sorts, and the interest will come and go fairly quickly.

Based on getting his post count higher it appears at this time. Of course the post counter goes down every time a spam thread is deleted.

That's why I reported half his threads. TF is too nice of a community to have it over ran by spam. Glad to see you and the other admins are so effective at keeping the community clean.
