I'm running Windows Vista, and JDK 6. How do you mean "pointing to it fully in cmd"? I'm new to all this, just started learning Java so I pretty much know nothing.

If I search for the program "javac.exe" i get an error message saying it doesn't exist :S

If your searching for javac.exe and cant find it then its not on your computer, i in this case i would suggest uninstalling the jdk you have installed and try re-installing the latest one which i belive is jdk1.6.0_10 and try again as obviously javac.exe needs to be in the bin directory of the jdk folder for it to be used.

If you get problems you can pm me as i may not notice you replied to this
