VB skinning ?

Hey guys, could any of you point me to some good VBulliten skinning tutorials please thanks

Yes, I would like to starting skinning skins for IPB/vB as well. I tried looking at P2L but they arent the best place to look at for skinning. Any help?

You need to know CSS and how HTML works at least, then you can do most of it through the admin panel (Styles Manager-> Main CSS, I think.).

You will need to refer to the Docmentation aswell: http://www.vbulletin.com/docs/html/main/css_intro

I might write an indepth tutorial sometime, don't know when though yet.

I was in the same boat as you once. The vBulletin 2 templating system intrigued me a lot, and I really wanted to learn more about it.

So I done the most obvious thing to do at the time.

Join the community.

You'll learn a lot more by being an active part of the community there. Go through the different hacks/template mods, learn more about how it all works, check through each update to see what's been changed, and eventually you'll learn it.

Don't do what I did though. Get good with vB2 the second vB3 took over. The day I finished my brand spanking new fully-coded vBulletin-based review/article system, vB3 came out and it immediately became yesterdays news.
