well you could say that pr 0 sites are worthless to submit too
but in future that sight may grow into a higher PR, and strengthen that inbound link to your site

just a thought i guess

Maybe not... This a ridiculously low price for for such time consuming processes. It might be good to remember that you get what you pay for. 500 directory submission does not translate into 500 Do Follow links from sites that actually have PR... Just a thought!

If you are submitting your website to a PR 0 directory...and in case your website gets approved listing on that particular directory..there are high chances that in the near future the PR may go up and may be they stop accepting free one way link submissions...

So, Advantages of submitting to PR 0 directories :

1. They accept FREE one way link submissions
2. when the PR goes up, you have your site already listed in their list

So, there's no harm in submitting sites to PR 0 directories...

Hope this helps

I would disagree, the harm here is that your time is being wasted. There are way more productive ways to acquire useful Do Follow Backlinks.

Let me explain it another way. My site Tucson SEO Solutions ranks both # 1 and # 2 in Google for backlinks building services and I don't use this method. I previously did a case study and found that only 9 % of my submissions ever were approved. That's not what I call good ROI.

One major drawback of these directories is that most of them require that your business name be included in your home pages page title. As an SEO guy this is unacceptable. I would rather use a keyword phrase. Using a business name is such a waste.

I also do not waste my time on anything that has no PR on that hope that it might improve later. I would consider that an enormous waste of effort, but then I rank # 1 and # 2 for backlinks building services. Believe me I didn't get there using 0 PR sites.

Well, if you want to be successful at the practice of this methods there are defiantly "rules" to follow as far as on Page optimization goes. Its the link building part that most people have problems with. Most people wants the benefits of links but without putting in the effort.
