It only made sense and be fair and comment on your thread . Well firstly, there is not a great deal to comment on. I like your logo, I think that typeface is nicely used.
However, the secondary font you've used too much. Maybe use that font for the headings and perhaps change the text below them, for example- "First year batchelor...", "Extensive knowledge...". I'd use maybe Arial, or Lucida Sans for this text.
Yeah, I've been struggling wether I'd change those fonts around a bit but I wanted to limit the number of fonts.
I have to admit though, I kind of rushed the design Wanted to put a real portfolio online but found out I barely had files left (complete PC format took care of that :P) so decided to go with this until I built up a portfolio of about 4, 5 items worth showing
I think the font choice for the body is excellent. It is all the "body" so there is no reason why you can't have it the same font. The different color and size does well the separate the headers from the sub-content.
I would however, even out the spacing on the top and bottom of the section right below the logo.
Looks awesome though. I love the colors, and the coding was very well implemented.
just a font... once I get a decent portfolio up, I'll look into a more 'professional' logo to go with the new layout.
