Old  What to put on my site

Alright so I'm just wondering what would you suggest I put on my site. So I can advertise my services, and keep it rich with content. I don't want it to be just like a brochure site.

Lets see.. buy a domain, get a new design, and yes, fill it with interesting content someone will like to read. (I'm assuming you are talking about the site in your signature?)

haha no actually not... I'm getting a domain on friday. But the actual design is at http://willemfreelance.freehostia.com/Joomla

and then I know I gotta fill it with content someone would like to read. But that's where I'm stuck. What kinds of stuff?

We've had a lot of these threads recently. Newcomers signing up, posting a few comments on various other threads, then post asking for ideas and basically just requesting the use of someone else's imagination.

I'm not too keen on the word apathy but I think this may be an appropriate time to use it.

alright no, not like that at all. Just general ideas of what I can put on my site. It's not like I'm asking you to write me an article. I'm just at a bit of a loss. I've never done this kind of thing.

Then what is the site about? I am a little confused as to which site you are referring to. If the site is about you then just document your entire life! Take some photos of the meals you eat, the plants you have. Try something a little different from the norm.

If you have a passion for something, make a site based off of that, like a blog or something. It makes the job and thought process easier.
