I currently have a project going, testing to see how high I can get for the terms "New Zealands best web designer"
I am testing keyword densities, heading tags, anchors, strong tags, meta tags, titles and page html names.
I'm doing this project because of an article I read of Brendan Sinclairs author of "Sitepoints web design business kit"

contemplate.us is number 1 for "take time to think", (with or without quotes), out of 785,000,000 results. Also varies between 1st and 4th place for "contemplate".

Through msn search I am already number one for the term "New Zealands best web designer"
This has only taken six days. It is a fairly good term to search for if you are after New Zealands best web designer, so I think this is a successful project so far.

I am also at number one in Yahoo, but the link is to my index page that refers to the trial page, pretty good though I think
I am yet to get the page listed in Google. Will keep you all updated about Google as it takes freakin aaaages for it to list some pages sometimes.

I finally got template-tutorials.com to end up on google, so that in itself is a good achieve for me IMO.
Is that book from sitepoint about SEO worth it for general web pages that don't sell products? Or should i start my own thread...
EDIT: Yikes! I just found out that when i search template-tutorials the search results shows posts by me on TF about the site before it shows the actual website. Man, i've got some work to do...
