Wow, $300-$500 is awfull for a month, you get more being a dustbin man in the UK . Not sure what the pricing is though in the United Kingdom, i believe it largley varies between which company you work for.
I agree. I earn that much working one day a week at a sports store. I'd like to know as it seems like I'll be relying on my web design skills to get me a job.

sometimes i get jobs to do logos for 15$ then for 20$
you know 30 for this header , than 25 for that header.
