Alrighty guys, i haven't been active very lately, so sorry about that. I need your help in deciding which layout is the best for my website. Here are the choices:

The Current Layout; Version 1

or

Version 2


Luckily, the site isn't THAT active yet, so i still have time to completely change it. Thanks for your opinions

Current one is completely ForumShock.com...

I mean, it even has the same HEX for the background greys and the primary orange color.

that was the main motivation for me to make the V2 layout, which i beleive is 100% original because i didn't have any "inspiration" from another site to make it. Thanks for your comment though.

I like #2 better but the drop shadow on the text over the yellow bar would look better a bit darker.

Haha yea, logos are one of the many things i completely suck at (i don't even think the current "logo" qualifies as a logo).

Well since everybody agrees with #2, overall, how well is the design? Thanks for the responses everybody!
