Im creating a verticle nav menu (the links span out sideways instead of a drop down) and its going good, until I turn the sublinks into buttons. This is how I have it set up so far...

-Button1 (HOME), over is a movie clip, hit is the button and covers the sublinks
-movie clip for 'over' has 1 layer for the links (each are buttons)

I wanted to create a very simple nav menu, but now the subbuttons start to flicker (the whole layer/row of text does). What am I doing wrong? It was going all fine and dandy until I made the text into buttons. The only button is the first sublink

For some reason, I've been following tutorials ALL day, and none of them work for me. They all end up resulting in a sorta flicker. I've been following videos word for word, character for character. It's starting to get annoying since everything I've tried hasn't work.
