  Old  Custom Build - Computer

Well, I'm sitting here right now, looking at this crappy peice of ****. Sorry for calling it ****, but it is. I have a Dell at the moment, and I'm just sick of the bugger. Is there any place in the U.S. that you guys know of, that would build a custom computer for you. I'm not so much a gamer, but I for the design aspect. So, can anyone tell me good links and such to custom builders, and maybe even a qoute of how much it usually is. Thanks much.

Well im sure there are alot in the states, atleast one in everytown. I suggest buying your parts of www.newegg.com then taking them to someone to put them together.

you would be supprised at how easy it is to put together your own computer. . . your motherboard will even come with a manual to show you how to do it, its only like 10steps or something anyone can do it

www.ebuyer.co.uk is where i go but im UK, they have a USA version too tho'

www.ibuypower.com is good apparantly, I configured the same PC as mine and it came up half the price...but that's to be expected from a US store compared to a UK one.

www.ebuyer.co.uk is a good website, some crazy machines at www.ibuypower.com though! Good luck finding your ideal system

putting a pc together is like building a jigsaw, if it doesnt fit it doesnt belong there

every connection is color coded or unique

whats your budget?

Hmm, a budget. I'm not quite sure, but something maybe..I'm not sure. I don't want to buy all this stuff, when it's not a gaming computer. It's really going to be for designing, and thats what I would like it for. If Robson, some of those are great sites, thanks for the link. I'm thinking about talking to different custom build computer stores and sites, and seeing what they can do for prices.

I'd avoid eBuyer.co.uk

They tend to send out second hand goods some of the time.
