Why would you trust less a .us than .ca? Both are the same, except .us is for the USA and .ca for Canada. .tk and .cjb.net are different because they can get obtained for free, so it's sure it can give a little idea on the site.

Well, seeming that i am from Canada i will trust my own kin more than us.
But i use several different factors to decide whether or not i'll do business with someone, so it's only a minute detail.

Buy the .com, .co.uk, and the .ca of the company.

Personally I would never buy the .ca, it is not a well known domain.

The .us was purely to play off the domain, so it would look a bit more fun but obviously I had concerns about scaring non-us buyers.

Anyway decision made and back up name will be used.

Of course, because you can't.
You have to be a resident of Canada to register it.
