Just curious, I was looking at buying some stuff off ebay, like one of the newer tablet pcs to save on my college budget.

I just wanted to know if anyone else had bought anything similar to that, and if they had any problems or anything to watch out for when doing so?

I've bought phones and such off of ebay for >£200, with no problems.

The best piece of advice I could give you is, be precautious.
Check out as much about the seller as you can, before buying the item - Look what they've been selling, buying, feedback, etc.

It may be a good idea to email the seller beforehand if you have any suspicions about the item. It'll also give you a good idea of their attitude, incase you do get any problems with the item.

sometimes you may get people that take a while to post the product because they are lazy but this shouldnt be a problem

A year ago I bought a new camera off ebay and I got the camera and a 1gig card for the same as the retail stores were selling just the camera for. I never had any problems, but some do. Just check out the sellers feedback and email them questions about the product, this can give you some insight on how they are and maybe it will make you feel more comfortable buying from them on ebay. It is fun, and you can save a ton of cash, but it can be addictive, so be careful

I've bought plenty of stuff on Ebay and I have never been disappointed but
be sure to ask the seller any questions you might have and check all of there
feedback especially if any post are about the item you want.

Ony 0.04% end in some sort of fraud so don't worry, youll be fine if you buy of someone with good freedback (98%-100%) and if your starting of I wouldnt reccomend buying of a newbie (0-5 Feedback rating).

Ive bought over 50+ items and ive had no problems.

I've only ever had a problem once when someone tried to rip me off of £120 for a phone I was buying for a friend. About 3 weeks later PayPal gave me £100 of it back but I never got the other £20 which I was gutted about.

Never had any problems with the other 40-odd things I've bought though. Never buy anything of anyone who's feedback comes from things such as e-books though.
