Of the half dozen designs I have seen Anthony do, this is my least favorite. The color scheme is definitely unique but I don't know if it has a great harmony. The Yahoo ads with the blue background shoots the design in the head. I'd like to see a little more graphics and/or colors in the main design, even just a logo or brand image.

//opinion on just the looks

Take your damn problems with people and sort them out elsewhere (aimed at cpvr).

Everybody commenting on the design, thanks very much for giving it thought. I don't believe this is my strongest work personally, but every effort was spent making sure that it fit the needs of creepah perfectly for his site.

Any more comments, keep them rolling in

I see what you mean perfectly and I agree to the extent of the style.

The thing is that many arcade websites these days feel as though they have to have some amazingly intense style in order to fit the cliché. GamerFreak breaks out of that mould (if you will) and shows a unique side to this type of market.

To be honest. I like the current design, although, I have not seen the previous one.

I like the pastel colors that were used, which is different from what I have been seeing here lately.

Nice work Anthony.

I love it.

You guys don't seem to appreciate simplicity. I think it's much more pro than the previous design.

First Impression: (As soon as it loaded my instant thought=) Is this site done?

The colors left no room for contrast. For instance, when looking at it, you can't pick the dark color, or the light color. It's all in the middle. That's why half the people like it, and half don't. IT really depends on who likes contrast and who doesn't.

I myself, would never play on that site because of the design being layed out the way it is and the background being useless techniques that aren't really needed to improve the design.

Perhaps make a simple design, with contrasting but complimenting colors, and a good idea of positioning the ad's no matter what the design to get a big payout. (Perhaps have a fake pic of a game, and have the ads next to it matching the other game titles and descriptions).

PS: This is all in a happy thought of mine, I am really not trying to be mean and say it has to be changed, just the way I write.
