  Old  Html/css editors

Hi to all!

What html/css editors you use when creating web pages?

For CSS I use TopStyleLite.

For html use
NVU - html editor
or
pspad
or
notepad++

I do all of my XHTML/CSS in Dreamweaver although for quick mods I usually use Notepad++ because it's not nearly as heavy.

I use Dreamweaver for the following reasons:
  • Decent Design Preview
  • Code completion
  • Great CSS integration
  • Tabs (Stupid I know)
  • Easy interface

Plus now that it's an Adobe product, I expect they'll start integrations with Photoshop (ie - in Flash you can now import a layered PSD).

Best Regards,
Patrick

I use bluefish and don't like it. but can't find anything really better. (note: haven't looked too hard)

a friend of mine uses coda (mac only) and that is really nice.

I use emacs locally and vim remotely, but you may not like it. Rather you may want to try Quanta Plus, it is more like an IDE (but on Qt, so may not look right in Gnome).
