  Old  (K)ubuntu Help!

Hi Guys, just put kubuntu on my laptop (Ubuntu with the K Desktop) and I was wondering if you guys:

1. Have a Good Getting started guide
2. Know how to connect the internet; Konquerer launches but I get this error message whilst loading any sites:
