I know that the boy deserved it, as I probably would have done the same, but that doesnt make it ok for the bus driver to do so. He should have stopped in the middle of the free way, and made the kid get off, if he refused, grab the kid, and make him get off ( maybe not on the freeway, but you get the idea ).

A bus driver punched me once but I hit him first but I was till shocked he hit punched me back at the age then.

I think its ok for the bus driver to hit them back if they hit first. But I think its upto the parents to punish there kids not somone else.

I don't even think parents should be allowed to hit, I think theres better punishments like grounding them for 2 weeks or more or stopping pocket money etc..

the driver had no right, he has the right to tell the person to get off the bus or ban him from the bus if he really wanted but not to do that. . . only parents should be allowed to hit their own children imo

Maybe the kid went to far, but I think swinging for the kid and going for him was a bit too far.
Yeah Maybe we agree he deserved it, but how would a kids parents react to seeing their child taking a bit of a clouting. Also, the kid definitely started it, got up and walked towards the driver and swore at him.
Tricky situation.

i know for a fact if a driver ever went to hit me when i was young our dad would kill them lol... seriously why does anyone have the right to hit a kid for misbehaving when they are not responsible for that person?
