Yes sixmode, I know that it is very similar. I too saw Pixel Meadow's logo yesterday (via 38one) so thought that I'd try and replicate the same style (I don't design with too much glossy/glassy style). Just to let you know, it is 100% playing around in Illustrator and is most certainly not commercial work -- just me playing around.

Nice desktops everyone! Keep 'em coming.
